WOMANFIRE is a one-hour ensemble drama about five failing female firefighters banished to the same neglected border station. Labeled as inept, scandalous, or just a hot mess, they’re iced by their department, mistrusted by the neighborhood and threatened by a local militia. Their families of blood or choice rely on them, so they’ll have to look within and to each other to succeed. It complicates things that each holds powerful secrets.
