Louis Armstrong Airport gives the first clue that you’re not in the United States as you know it.
In August of 2007, the artistic team that collaborated on Stardust and Empty Wagons spent a week in New Orleans collected follow-up materials, photographs and musical inspiration for the play. racial divide. And woven through the testimony, is the story of New Orleans and it rich musical, social and cultural history. Audiences responded with standing ovations nightly; prompting tears, song and a nightly “second line.” Written and directed by Ellen Gavin. Associate Producer: CC Campbell Rock.
